Troublesome Creek exclusive waters flow through gorgeous ranch land near Kremmling, CO. The private creek is divided into three different sections (beats) that are rotated on the schedule for guided use on a weekly basis. The lower, middle and upper sections all have unique characteristics that make each of them fun challenges. Novice anglers can find straightforward places to place a fly and have shots at quality fish while more experienced anglers can challenge themselves to get their flies into tighter places where trout love to hide. Drifting nymphs and dry flies or swinging and stripping streamers are all productive ways to catch fish on this creek. The creek has a good mix of rainbows, browns and brookies from smaller fish to true trophies. A visit to the property can also include a visit to the lake where five different species of trout call home, including some cutthroat and tiger trout that will really get your attention.
